Value Adding Services As Broker

With our good relationship with Chinese yards and decades experiences in the industry, we are able to provide the following value add services to our clients:

A.       During the yard selecting progress: we can help our clients to get the information about yards capability, advantages, disadvantages, and the information which shipyard is reluctant to share with our clients directly. And by joining the meeting between our clients and the yards, we can help our foreign partners to indentify the true or misleading information which shipyards give.

B.       After the yard selection: In China, different port has different rules and regulations from the MSA, Customs and other Port Authorities. So it is not easy to choose the most suitable supporting companies like Port Agents, Ship Chandlers, Sludge/Garbage collection companies. So by using our knowledge and experiences in each port, we can recommend the most suitable supporting companies for the owner. And for sludge/garbage disposal, in some port like Shanghai, if the wrong company is chosen, the vessel may not get the permission to discharge the sludge/garbage.  

C.       Before the vessel coming: Follow up the vessel’s ETA and Shipyard production plan, make sure yard will be well prepared for the repairing, recommended good SRM and repairing team based on our previous experiences if necessary. Monitoring the docking slot and update owner the possibility of the changing of the docking time so shipside can be prepared accordingly.

D.       During the repairing: We have our onsite representative who has experience as ship crew, shipyard commercial manager and broker, he can accompany the Supt to visit the yard, having the kick off meeting together with the Supt, identify the potential risk or problem after the kick off meeting, support the Supt locally with the communication and coordination when needed. Acting as a buffering zone or back channel when there is any contradictions between the Supt and the Yard, find the real issue behind the problems by using our relationship with yard’s management and onsite engineers/foreman, and assist both sides to resolve the contradictions.

E.       After the repairing: Assist the Supt to close the Final Invoice with the yard in case there is big gap between two sides. After the vessel’s departure, if the vessel has some defects (which may be caused by the yard), we will assist the Supt to coordinate the repairing or claim the compensation from the yard.

Voyage/Emergency Repairing

We have our own workshop in Shanghai for general voyage/emergency repairing, e.g. steel repairing, M/E, A/E, T/C, Governor overhaul, air condition and refrigerator repairing, ICCP repairing, etc. We also have extensive network covering all Chinese major ports to provide the above mentioned services. Tank Cleaning, De-slopping And De-bunkering

We’ve been provide tank cleaning and de-slopping for our clients in China and Singapore for ard 2 decades already. Due to the strict environment protection regulations are implementing in all Chinese ports, it is become more and more difficult and expensive to carry out the Tank cleaning and De-slopping in China, especially when each ports’ regulation can be different from other ports, so some time this can cause big difficulty to our clients.

What we can do is to provide a one stop solution for most of Chinese major ports such as Dalian, Tianjin, Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Zhoushan, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, etc., to our clients and provide the most efficient and economical solution to our clients.

Engine Liner Measurement(ELM)

By using advanced laser and sensor technology combined with a compact and ingenious tool design, we can do quick liner measurements in unrivaled detail followed by a state of the art reporting. Not only for the liners, On request we check piston ring coating thickness and take pictures inside the liner including exhaust gas valve seats.This is the unique liner service, the systems we proudly use are comprise of latest sensor and advanced laser technology, compact and ultra-robust parts and 3D-printing for housing and core components.
